We had a fantastic stay at this desert lodge. The service and welcoming management were greatly improved from our previous visit. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The hotel facilities were great, especially the lovely pool where we could relax and enjoy the spectacular views after a long journey on dirt roads. The cleanliness of the rooms was top-notch, and the restaurant offered excellent food with a wide variety of options on the a la carte menu. The owners/managers were very friendly and accommodating, always willing to help with our requests. the staff, facilities, and location of this hotel made our stay enjoyable and memorable.

As a solo traveler, I loved the amazing view from the terrace and the unique accommodation at the lodge. the sunrise walk to the breathtaking viewpoint was a memorable experience. the food was delicious and the staff provided a warm welcome.

We stayed at this stunning desert lodge during our honeymoon road trip from Sesriem to Swakopmund. The luxurious "StarWars-like" bungalows had beautiful decor and a breathtaking view. The lodge/restaurant's location offered a superb panoramic view of the plains and mountains. The staff was friendly and helpful, and our sundowner activity with our knowledgeable guide Justin was worth it. The dinner at the lodge's restaurant was delicious, especially the oryx steak. Highly recommended for a luxurious and relaxing stay after camping!

The lodge at Rostock Ritz Desert Lodge Cha, re offers friendly and helpful service, going above and beyond to accommodate guests. the stone dome, like rooms provide a functional space with a ceiling fan to keep cool. the food at the lodge is exceptional, prepared by an excellent chef. Guests can enjoy a great view of the surrounding area and a pool with an amazing desert and mountain landscape.

The stone, style buildings can become hot inside and lack proper cooling systems.

Enjoyed observing game at sunset, going on excursions to see bushman paintings and Sossusvlei's highest dunes. Perfect for conferences and workshops. Variety of delicious dishes in the restaurant.

Just loved being overwhelmed by a thousand year old rock paintings and waving grassland. Not a fan of the shy leopards and wild cats in the canyons.

Sundowner drive: As the golden rays of light flooded the plains just before the sun decided to set behind the mountain range, I felt like I was in a painting, witnessing a magical safari scene come to life. It was a breathtaking experience, observing the variety of game drawn to the waterhole close to the lodge, a sight that only nature can create.

Language barrier during activities.

Our xmas stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing! the bungalows were beautifully decorated and had a stunning view of the plains and mountains. the location was perfect, with breathtaking views from the lodge and restaurant. We also booked the sundowner activity and our guide was so knowledgeable about the terrain and the animals. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. And the oryx steak in the restaurant was delicious!

The internet didn't work, which was a bit inconvenient. We also didn't have tea/coffee facilities in our room, and there were no different models of plugs available.
